WORD OF THE DAY- convivial: relating to feasting, drinking, and good company; festive.
the word of the day is in honor of where i have been and where i am going. it is always good to be home. to see all of the chores left undone, and all the things that are still needed to do. the fam had a great time with my dad. the smallest of us even figured out how to get my dad's dog to come to her. simply sit on the floor with tortilla in hand and say "lala" while making the come here motion with your other hand. while at my dad's she also figured out how to use the doggy door. also very cute to see. as the fourth approaches the excitement is building in the house. woo hoo vacation. the hubby has his year evaluation this evening, so we're excited. we also received confirmation that our application part two had been received and evaluated. we are going to call in january to be reactivated. this is so that i can loose enough weight to fit their guidelines. woo hoo. things are very exciting in our household right now. the eldest monkey will be going to camp on the 9th. its only daycamp, but she is excited. FOOD FOR THOUGHT- IN THE WORDS OF JAMES THURBER, who i adore, "All human beings should try to learn before they die what they are running from, and to, and why."
