happy happy birthday baby

what a weekend we had. a weekend filled with princesses, pappy, and presents. what a birthday weekend it was. a monkey princess.

a birthday princess. isn't she sweet.

the girls had a great time playing with the kids at the party. then they helped us bottle the beer. they fought for pappy attention. it was an amazing time. I've also been knitting a bit.
i know they're pink. a lady at our church had a girl, so they are pink. aren't they cute. the pair only took about 3 hours start to finish.
this is the little hat that i made for the same little girl. it only took about an hour or so. well, it would have if i hadn't been chasing children.
finally the booties for Q. i need to trim the string, but that's all. I'm making a pair of beige that he can wear with his cute little outfits to church. I'm also going to do a couple of hats. really enjoying using my hands again. well i hope that everyone's weekend was as wonderful as mine.

Happy birthday to your sweet girl! And I LOVE your handiwork! Knitting is something I have never done, but it looks fun so I may have to try it! The booties are adorable!

I love the princesses! I wanna tiara... those booties are so cute. Okay, I may have to attempt knitting, even though it scares my brain to have to try and understand the concept. We'll work through it though. As far as the diapers go...well, I just like to get to my goal. I want it done and done in a decent manner in a sensible amount of time. It so doesn't usually work like that!:p

Your girls are so beautiful! I'm so glad the birthday went so well. She must be the happiest princess around.

I may just have to have another baby so you can make me a pair of those adorable booties! (oh, did I just say have another baby? Someone smack me!)

When I was that pregnant, there's no way I could knit with my fat sausages, I mean, fingers. Very precious babies, booties, and hats! Happy Birthday!!!!!!!
